CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
(PRE-K - 5TH GRADE)

Children's Ministry

The slideshow above is from one of our monthly small groups.  We had a gardening day where the kids had the opportunity to create a windowsill flower garden with the help of one of our members.
Hope Church offers a full range of ministries to children from birth to fifth grade. During the Sunday service, children will learn about the Bible through age appropriate curriculum. A well staffed nursery provides loving care to infants. The 2-preK5 year old class is a fun interactive class that meets during the entire church service. Those in K5 to 5th grade will worship along with the adults in the sanctuary until dismissed to their respective classes.

Once a month we have a small group meeting with the children.  Our small group activities will vary from month to month.  Each month we will have an age appropriate Bible lesson along with a fun activity to help reinforce the lesson.  Our small group meetings also provide our children with the opportunity to fellowship with each other helping them to develop much needed Christian friendships.

Our children’s program thrives in a safe environment. In addition to the adults teaching classes, we also have an assistant in each class to help the teachers as needed. Each adult who works with children is carefully screened before they are entrusted with our children.

Our children’s ministry leader has been serving in children’s ministry for over 10 years and has been involved in church since she was a young child making her very familiar with local church ministry and children specifically.  We keep the children in our ministry in our hearts and prayers daily.

Hello parents and students,
We may not be able to come together in the church building......but that is not the end of our Children's Lessons.  Each week we will have printables and other resources that are uploaded and added here for our parents to print out and use at home to continue to discuss the lesson as a family.  We will also be recording the lesson presented by one of our volunteer teachers each week to be presented with the video sermon that Pastor Luke will be posting here on the website on the "Recent Sermons" page.  We encourage you to watch the video with your children.  Please keep in mind that we are not professionals when it comes to recording our lessons.  But it is our hope that the kids will enjoy them and get the message intended.

To the right is the Parent Guide that will give you information about the lessons we will be recording.

Thank you for your support.  We love and miss you all.
~ Miss Mel
